2012 EXPRESSIONS OF GOD'S LOVE AT CHRISTIAN SERVICES

SOUP KITCHEN -- Served 145,632 meals together with love, compassion and prayer. 64,350 of those meals were delivered to homebound elderly through Meals on Wheels.

ABUNDANT HARVEST -- Shipped 487,500 pounds of food & supplies to 32 other ministries & agencies allowing CSI to touch thousands of additional lives for Christ.

LIBERTY MINISTRIES -- Housed 39 men for 4,868 nights, giving God an opportunity to help them break free from life-controlling problems. Placed 8 men and 2 women into other Christian recovery programs for additional growth.

LOVING HANDS -- Disbursed $96,799.07 in emergency assistance to 1,479 families (2,823 individuals). Over 150 applications are processed each month, with each applicant receiving an attentive ear, prayer, and encouragement, even if not eligible for financial assistance.

BARGAINS & BLESSINGS -- Over 23,000 shoppers received free or greatly reduced items of furniture, clothing, etc. Job interview outfits were provided for 22 women looking for work.  The thrift store is another example of CSI helping people to help themselves.

CHILDREN'S MINISTRIES -- Over 1,200 children received gifts, goodies, & lots of love at The Birthday Party for Jesus and the Easter Fun Day. Children look forward to these events--not just for the gifts, but because of the love they receive.

OTHER SPECIAL HOLIDAY EVENTS -- 1,835 special meals were served to community members for Thanksgiving and another 749 meals for Christmas. Yulecare baskets of food & gifts were delivered to 64 families (209 individuals). These events bring much joy into their lives and allow CSI to share the real meaning of the holidays.
