OVERVIEW OF LIBERTY MINISTRIES OF THE PINE BELT CRISIS INTERVENTION CENTER & TEEN CHALLENGE INDUCTION CENTER

Liberty Ministries/Teen Challenge - Provides a long-range program, 18 and older, who are seeking help to overcome life-controlling problems, such as (but not limited to) drug and alcohol addictions. Liberty Ministries of the Pine Belt is designed to operate through a two-phase program covering a twelve (12) month period. it is a strongly structured, heavily disciplined program based completely on the Word of God.

This program will be designed to operate as follows:

1. Intensive Crisis Intervention/Induction (Phase One)
This first phase of the program is a four month evaluation period with Liberty Ministries which consists of:

a. Fourteen (14) weeks of Teen Challenge, International Induction courses with a minimum test score of 80, and two (2) personal contracts (lessons) of Bible/personality studies.
b. Work therapy
c. Counseling
d. Guidance

During this time, along with the above requirements, the student will be expected to show initiative in his work and communications with other students and staff. Also during this time, the LM Director and Executive Director will determine when and where the student will be referred for advanced (Phase Two) training.

This first phase will be completed at Liberty Ministries in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

2. Advanced Training (Phase Two)
The second phase is an eight (8) month advanced program which consists of:

a. Two (2) personal contracts (lessons) of Bible/personality contracts.
b. Continued work therapy
c. Continued counseling and guidance
d. Additional responsibilities

This second phase will be conducted at a Teen Challenge Advanced Training Center outside of Mississippi.

3. This program is designed to facilitate a life-style change through five areas of day-to-day habits and practices:

a. Structured environment
b. Strong discipline
c. In-depth, introspective Bible studies
d. Regular church attendance
e. Community service to the less fortunate
